English-born Ghanaian midfielder Malachi Boateng is delighted to have joined Scottish side Queens Park on loan.

The 20-year-old has joined the Glasgow-based side on a season-long loan

The Crystal Palace youth star's chances of breaking into Patrick Vieira's team looks slim, hence the decision to move to QPR.

Having joined the Eagles over ten years ago, the former U18 Player of the Year wants first-team football.

He played 53 times for the youth teams of Crystal Palace and has been rated as one of the best talents at the Academy.

“I'm delighted to have the chance to test myself in a professional league, learn of the senior pros and manager, and develop my technique and physicality. I know that now it's on me to make the most of this chance and give everything I can to help Queen's Park this season.", Boateng said on the move.

The 20-year-old made his debut for Queens Park against Partick Thistle which ended 3-2.
