Dreams FC coach Charles Akonnor has picked duo Emmanuel Lomotey and  Lawson Bekui as his best performers in the first half of the season.

Lomotey, whose performances earned him a call-up to the Ghana U20 squad, was one of Dreams' key men in midfield.

Striker Bekui was the club's top scorer with seven goals and was invited into the Local Black Stars squad.

"The performance of Lawson Bekui and Emmanuel Lomotey have overwhelmed me so well, no one knew them and all of a sudden they are the talk of town," Akonnor told dreamsfc.com

"We bought Lawson after he had played just half a season in the division one and he has proved his quality by netting seven goals. Lomotey has also been a gem in midfield and the engine of the side. From total obscurity, they are now national team players and I feel proud.

"Our captain Abdul Bashiru has also been splendid, he has been excellent throghout in all the games we have played.

"We can also mention Ben Nash Quansah who started well until the last couple of games and also Emmanuel Eyison who has come in strongly,"
