Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Opoku powers VV Venlo within distance of Eredivisie qualification

Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Jonathan Opoku put up a virtuoso performance to put VV Venlo on the brink of qualification to the Dutch top-flight league.

The Ghanaian was in awesome form for the side as they recorded an impressive 3-1 win at MVV.

Despite failing to score, Opoku was a delight and mouthful for the home side with his brilliant displays for Venlo.

The Ghanaian has bagged 12 goals so far for his side this season as they lie second on the Eerste Divisie.

Venlo are second on the table with 66 points from 33 games.
