MTNFootball.com sources say the latest innovation from the FA has generated massive interest among local coaches as it will stir competition and fair play.

Fabin, who guided Wassaman to earn a historic qualification to the Ghana Premier League two months ago, submitted his CV on Monday.

The former Asante Kotoko youth team coach has got competition from now Heart of Lions Hans Van der Plyum who will submit his application by the close of the week.

"I have always expressed my desire to coach any of the national teams and therefore I will put in my application by the close of the week," Plyum said.

"It will give us a fair level ground because I know I'm fully qualified and have the ability to coach either Under-17 team or the Black Meteors."

The number of coaches expected to apply for the vacant positions is expected to swell before the 21 September deadline.
