Edubiase President Salam Yakubu fires Kotoko warning

New Edubiase United President Abdul Salam Yakubu has fired warning at Asante Kotoko ahead of their visit to the Baba Yara Stadium.

The 'Movers' have lost both of their opening games of the season and are bottom of the Ghana Premier League table.

The Bekwai-based side have picked 2-0 defeats against Hearts and All Stars but club President Salam Yakubu claims his side are fired up to repeat their recent dominance over Kotoko.

"We will stop Kotoko. The fact that we have lost our opening games is nothing to us. We will beat Kotoko," he told Accra-based Peace FM.

Edubiase held Kotoko to goalless stalemate in Kumasi last November but defeated the Porcupine Warriors in November 2011.

Kotoko have maintained a perfect run to the start of the season beating Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak in difficult games.
