South African midfielder Amigo Mamela has praised Ghanaian utility player Edwin Gyimah’s contribution since he started playing for Orlando Pirates.

Gyimah has slotted in well at Pirates and his form has coincided with the team’s resurgence in the league.

The SEA ROBBERS at a point in time sagged to 12th position in the league but have risen their game and are now 6th though they lost to second placed Bitsvest yesterday in the PSL.

But midfielder Amigo Mamela reserved some praise for Ghanaian defender Edwin Gyimah.

“Gyimah has brought a winning mentality into the team," Memela is quoted by Sowetanlive.com

"He's a fighter. He'll push, even when the team is down, and that lifts us."

Gyimah’s form has seen him being named in Ghana’s 2017 AFCON qualifier against Mozambique to be played this month.
