The Egyptian Football Association has officially submitted its candidacy for the organization of the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League final later in May 2021.
It would be the second time in a row for Egypt to host the competition's final after hosting it last edition.
Al Ahly SC beat bitterest rivals Zamalek SC 2-1 to the clinch the ultimate at the end of the competition.
The Egyptian Football Association also requested for hosting rights of the 2023 Africa U20 Championship.
Egypt last hosted the youth football tournament in 2009 where Ghana won it for the very first time.
