Germany-based defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh has been left out of Black Stars squad to play Mozambique in 2017 AFCON qualifier because of injury.
The highly rated right-back suffered the injury during a game for Eintractcht Braunschweig in the second tier and he has been completely ruled out.
The 23-year-old, was part of Avram Grant's squad that eliminated Comoros Island in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Ofosu-Ayeh marked his debut during Ghana’s international friendly against Canada last October.
The Black Stars will play their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique in Accra on March 24 before the return leg in Maputo three days later.
