Ghana Premier League club Elmina Sharks have reportedly appointed Kobina Amissah as head coach.

Amissah replaces Mallam Yahaya, under whose watch the club have been woeful so far this season and are languishing at the bottom.

It is his second spell with the club, having managed them in their inaugural Ghana Premier League season in 2017.

The renowned trainer shockingly quit as Bibiani Goldstars coach after securing their historic qualification to the top-flight last season.

Amissah, who is a specialist when it comes to securing promotion is expected to ensure Shaks avoid relegation.

Meanwhile, the management team of the club has also been dissolved.
