Ghana midfielder Michael Essien could face some ribbing from his Chelsea team-mates- he has attended a Kitty Brucknell gig.
X Factor oddball Kitty performed at London's Cafe De Paris on Saturday – the same venue where the Chelsea ace was celebrating his return from injury.
However, Essien should be able to swerve some flak as he didn't know who she was.
A source said: "Kitty's gig was a surprise appearance – nobody knew she was coming on.
"Michael barely noticed her and continued chatting with his mates on his VIP table."
He would not be the first.
