Former Asante Kotoko Supporters Chief, Kweku Amponsah has pleaded with the Ghana Football Association's Disciplinary Committee to consider imposing a fine on Emmanuel Gyamfi instead of a ban.
The Asante Kotoko deputy captain has been charged by the governing body's Disciplinary Committee for misconduct.
There are intense fears among supporters of the Porcupines that a ban could prevent the talented midfielder from playing in what looks like the title decider with arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

The Ghana FA after reviewing the incident has referred the player to the Disciplinary Committee for sanctions.
Kweku Amponsah in an interview has pleaded with the GFA Disciplinary Committee to consider fines instead of sanctioning the player which could see him miss two key games against Karela United and Hearts of Oak.
“Emmanuel Gyamfi should be fined and not be suspended. I totally agree to the charge from the GFA,” he told Happy FM.
“I plead with them not to sanction him so he will not miss the two games against Karela and Hearts.” he added.
Hearts are currently top of the table with Kotoko following but both sides have the same number of points which makes the matches exciting going into the final round of matches for the season.
