Ex-Ghana FA boss Nyaho Tamakloe has launched a mocking attack on Richard Kingson, labeling him as an ‘age cheat’.

Kingson, 35, is making a return to the Black Stars after a two-year absence following his inclusion in Kwesi Appiah’s 25-man squad to face Egypt in the first leg of the 2014 World Cup play-offs on October 15.

The controversial former FA boss, who kicked against the return of the Doxa Katokopias shot-stopper, has accused him of lying about his age.

“My experience as a medical doctor clearly tells me he Richard Kingson is way above the age he claims he is,” Tamakloe said

“This man has played with most of the retired footballers and he still says he is 35 years old?

“ I as a medical doctor know it’s false. He should leave the younger ones to do the job and call it a day with the Black Stars.”

Dr Tamakloe has been a harsh critic of the decision to recall the former Blackpool goalkeeper.
