Former Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng marked his debut for Rayo Oklahoma in their 0-0 stalemate against FC Edmonton.

The 33-year-old lasted 54 minutes as OKC were held at home.

Boateng, an ex-Ghana international, joined the American second-tier side in January this year.

The crowd was raucous throughout the game, which was noticed by the playing staff of North American Soccer League’s newest team; in particular head coach Alen Marcina.
