Former Ghana striker Anthony Yeboah admits not playing at the FIFA World Cup is one of the low points of his career.

Yeboah played for Ghana between 1985 and 1997. His generation which many hold in high esteem failed in their attempt to qualify for the global showpiece.

According to the former Leeds United and Eintracht Frankfurt star, their failure was down to “petty mistakes” by everyone involved including the players.

"Now I take everything cool. Now I know I have to enjoy my life. I have some companies, hotels working for me and I make sure I take good care of my family," he told GTV Sports Plus.

He was capped 59 times, scoring 29 goals in the process.
