Former Kilmarnock defender Alex Bruce says Jeremie Frimpong have had a big impact in Celtic dressing room since joining last summer.
Frimpong joined the Hoops on a season-long loan from English giants Manchester City.
The 19-year-old has gone on to establish himself as a first-team mainstay under Neil Lennon.
His impressive performances have prompted the Glasgow giants to reward him with a new and improved permanent contract.
Bruce insists that young and hungry players can have a major impact on the dressing room and he believes Frimpong has given everyone at the club a lift.
“There’s nothing better than when a young player comes through that’s full of energy and full of life â it can really impact a dressing room in terms of giving the place the lift, as you can imagine.
“When you see someone that’s got an infectious personality like what he’s got â you only need to look at his interviews on the telly â I can imagine him around the dressing room and I’m sure the lads love having him around.
“He’s given everyone a lift.”
Frimpong has 19 appearances under his belt for Celtic so far, including a start in the Scottish League Cup final against Rangers.
