EXCLUSIVE: Algerian giants ES Setif to disband Ghanaian forward Daniel Lomotey

Published on: 28 December 2021

Algerian giants ES Setif are set to release Ghanaian forward Daniel Agbloe Lomotey during the next transfer window, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.

Lomotey has struggled to win the trust of the Setif technical team led by Nabil Kouki since joining earlier this year.

The 22-year-old signed for the Algerian club from Ghana Premier League side WAFA SC on a three-year contract but his days at Setif will come to an end soon.

Lomotey is yet to make a single appearance since beginning of the Algerian Ligue 1 this season.

He has though played 89 minutes of football in all competitions.

The former Ghana U20 player has managed only two goals in 15 matches since joining Setif in January 2021.
