Division One side Bibiani Gold Stars have reversed their decision of sacking coach Kobina Amissah, GHANASoccernet.com cab exclusively Report.

This comes just few days after the club announced they have parted ways with the former Elmina Sharks gaffer following a run of poor results in the league.

Bibiani Gold Stars had dropped back to back points at home after two successive draws forcing management of the club to make a quick decision on his future.

However, after a meeting on Friday, the club has reinstated coach Kobina Amissah.

“It doesn’t make sense to tell a coach to step aside after drawing two games at home,” Kobina Amissah told Connect FM on the day he was asked to leave.

“All teams competing to qualify have drawn games at home, we were not going to be on top forever.

“The team would have qualified to the Premier League if the supporters know how to do football.

“Management of Gold Stars have given me the letter to step aside but I don’t know the reason – there is no reason in the letter they gave me.

“My absence won’t affect the team because it is the same players.”

Gold Stars currently sit third in Zone 2 of the league, behind Samartex and Skyy FC.
