Ghanaian teen sensation, Joseph 'Jojo' Amuzu has been promoted to the senior team of Belgium Jupiler Pro League side KV Mechelen, GHANASoccerner.com can exclusively report.

The 17-year-old, who is younger brother of Anderlecht star Francis Amuzu and son of former Hearts of Oak player Theophilus Amuzu, was on the bench in Mechen's thrilling encounter against Gent.

Jojo Amuzu looks to be following the footsteps of his senior brother, having shown great potential at the youth team.

"Jojo is a boy who has always come to train with a big smile over the years", Dennis Henderickx, youth coordinator of KV told GvA . "Because he has grown physically a bit later, he was less noticeable at a younger age than his brother Francis."

"He has gained a lot of strength in the last year. He has become a real man. Compared to his brother, Jojo is a little less explosive in the first meters, but on the other hand I think he is more versatile.

"Francis is more of a pure winger, while Jojo He can also be played as a second striker. He has something very unpredictable about his game. Sometimes he does things that we say 'wow', so I am very sure that he has all the qualities to break through to the first team in the long run."
