Ghanaian youngster Moses Odjer has signed a five-year deal with Italian club Catania, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Odjer who has been training with Serie-B club since March became eligible to sign his first professional contract having turned 18 last week.

The Ghana U20 star now gets the chance to get his club career back on track having won a herculean contractual dispute against Chievo Verone earlier this year.

He emerged as one of the star performers at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup for Ghana where he helped the Black Satellites to a bronze medal feat.

A subsequent move to Chievo Verone however proved abortive as the Italian club broke as many as nine transfer regulations to unltimately lose all their rights to the former Tema Youth midfielder.
