U.S Avellino have enquired about the availability of Salernitana midfielder Moses Odjer, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Odjer has seen little football since Giampiero Ventura took over the reins of Salernitana last year June.

The Ghanaian midfielder has made 11 appearances for the current season, but is no longer part of Ventura's plans.

But the Maroons are willing to hand him a new four-year contract before shipping him out on loan.

Avellino are said to have contacted Salernitana over taking the diminutive enforcer on loan for the rest of the season.

Odjer has given his approval to the move and is hoping to finalize the deal before the end of the ongoing transfer window.

The 23-year-old shot to prominence at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey 2015.
