Exclusive: Ofosu Appiah signs on at Jomo Cosmos

South African top flight side Jomo Cosmos have signed Asante Kotoko defender Ofosu Appiah on a year deal for an undisclosed fee, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The centre-back was captured by the promoted side as a replacement for Europe-bound Ousmane Berthe and was named in the club's 46-man squad list released on Thursday.

He will share the club's defensive duties with Gladwin Shitolo, Thabiso Hlalele, Sello Matete and Tshepo Moloto.

Appiah is likely to make his debut for the Ezenkosi in their Premier Soccer League opener against Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on 13 August.

He rarely had game time in the second half of last season Ghana Premier League after he accused some management members for taking bribes to fix a league match.
