Promoted Swedish Superettan side Mjällby have retained the services of midfielder Prosper Kasim on loan for another season, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 21-year-old winger had a successful spell with the club in the third-tier league last season where he helped them to secure a return to the second-tier.

The former Ghana U20 international scored ten goals in 27 matches which helped Mjällby to win the Division 1 league.

He is owned by giants IFK Göteborg, a club he joined in 2015 from Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies.

"The deal with Göteborg is ready and we have loaned him with an option to buy. We will only complete his contract and because he is in Ghana now, it takes a bit longer," Mjällby coach Miljard Milojevic said.

''He will be present when we start training on January 8th.''
