Ghanaian youngster Yaw Yeboah insists he remains confident of getting his opportunity under new Lille manager Frederic Antonetti.

The 18-year-old us yet to see game time since the exit of Herve Renard.

Yeboah looked well on his way towards becoming a regular first team player under the former Zambia boss with a good run of games until he was replaced in November.

This change in coaches appear to have hit the young Ghanaian who has relapsed to bench-warming duties at the French club.

But the on-loan Manchester City youngster is confident his chance will come as he keeps his consistency on the training grounds.

“I am very confident I will get my chance,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I think the new coach has seen a few of my games I played before he came in so it will take some time.

“I am not under pressure at all. I believe in my abilities and I know my chance will eventually come.

“I just have to keep my head and continue working hard.”

Yaw Yeboah has been restricted to just three La Liga appearances since joining Lille at the beginning of the season on loan from Manchester City.
