Ghana and Extramadura midfielder, Emmanuel Lomotey has advised Ghanaians to adhere to directives given out by the health officers to ensure they do get the coronavirus.

Lomotey was  speaking from his base in Spain where he revealed the severity of the pandemic and how people are living in fear and isolation.

Spain is currently under lock down with about 15,014 cases recorded and 640 deaths confirmed.

Lomotey who plays for Segunda side Extramadura told Happy FM that some of the cities are under lock down especially Madrid and Barcelona.

He explained that authorities have instructed that everybody remains indoors.

The team has also issued out daily routines which they adhere to as the football season has been put on hold.

Lomotey who was part of the Black Stars B squad that won the WAFU Championship hosted in Ghana said the current situation has thrown the Spanish football calendar into tatters and they have no idea on when football will return.

“The team has given us a daily routine that we do. It’s very boring because life without football is very difficult”.

“Most of us are very scared over here. For now we don’t know when Football will be returning back to Spain”, he ended.
