Portuguese giants FC Porto are on the verge of landing Ghana defender Gideon Mensah, according to reports.
The 22-year-old left Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg to join Zulte Waregem on a season-long loan last term.
Mensah managed to clock 19 appearances, registering 2 assists before the campaign was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
His exploits with the club has caught attention of several teams including Genk, Anderlecht, Vitoria Guimaraes, Monaco, Porto and a host of others.
According to reports in Portugal, Porto are likely to sign Mensah on a loan deal with an option to buy next summer for an amount of â¬4 million.
The current contract of Mensah at Red Bull expires on June 2024
