Ferencvárosi defender Abraham Frimpong is relishing the battle against Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the UEFA Champions League this season.

The Hungarian champions have reached the UEFA Champions group stages for the first time in 25 years.

The Green Eagles have been pitted in Group G alongside against Barcelona, Juventus and Dinamo Kiev.

The Budapest-based giants will open their campaign with a trip to Camp Nou to face Barcelona on Tuesday, October 20.

And Frimpong is relishing a personal battle with Messi and Ronaldo, saying he will do his possible best to nullify any threat from the two superstars.

"I'm trying to prove it. Just be there on the field," he deduced.

Ferencvárosi will play Dynamo Kiev in the next fixture before hosting Italian giants Juventus on Matchday 3 on November 4.
