Football's world governing body, FIFA, is celebrating the Black Starlets of Ghana after winning the African country's second U-17 World Cup in 1995.

The Black Starlets rout Brazil on this day, twenty years back, to stun the World by winning the World Cup.

The group that had any semblance of Awudu Issaka, Baba Sule and Emmanuel Bentil sent happiness through the mainland on that game changing night in Ecuador, beating Brazil in an exciting experience that finished 3-2.

In front of 30,000 expectant fans at the Estadio Monumental and after a tensed opening period, the game exploded into life six minutes before the break.

Joseph Ansah discovered space on the privilege after a set-piece was just half-cleared by the Brazilian protection.

His plunging long-extend drive was parried by Julio Cesar into the way of the onrushing Baba Sule, who heaved the Brazil goalkeeper.

Minutes after the fact, Ghana goalkeeper Michael Abu's long ball discovered its approach to Awudu Issaka, who moved past a few Brazilian difficulties before jabbing the ball towards Abu Iddrisu who included the second.

After the break, Juan decreased the shortfall for the puzzled Brazilians, gymnastically volleying home after a corner kick prompted a scramble in the Ghana punishment zone.

In any case, minutes after the fact, the Ghanaians reestablished their two-objective lead with a savage counter-assault which was done by Emmanuel Bentil.

Marco Antonio's breakaway objective in injury time will just get a relief for Brazil.

The victory was Ghana's second FIFA World Cup after first guaranteeing it in 1991.
