Fiorentina boss Beppe Iachini confirms interest in Ghana’s Alfred Duncan

Fiorentina coach Beppe Iachini has confirmed his side’s interest in US Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan.

Duncan has been linked with move away from the Mapei Stadium outfit after dropping down the pecking order at the club.

Fiorentina are heavily reported to be keen on the Ghana international midfielder’s signature.

Beppe Iachini is said to be leading the pursuit of his former protégé.

A report which the 55-year-old gaffer did not deny but said they are monitoring other targets as well.

"We are trying to insert guys who can make the squad more homogeneous even tactically and better face this group of return. And he falls within this perspective, it can interest, as well as other names may also be of interest,” Iachini said.

Duncan played under Iachini at US Sassuolo during the 2017/18 season.

He has netted 1 goal and provided 5 assists in 13 games for Sassuolo.
