Former Ghana International Odartey Lamptey has opened up on why he fell out with his Ghana coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor.
The duo at a point had a good working relationship and were best of friends before they cut ties.
According to Odartey Lamptey, Akonnor is not a friend and there is no need for any communication as they have both moved on.
“I don’t have any problem with CK Akonnor but we have not had a conversation for about 7 years now", he told Joy Sports.
"I think we have all moved on as persons, I have not placed a personal call to congratulate him on Black Stars job but we are all on several social media pages.
"We have so many type of friends, you can have a friend at work but they may not be people you share secretes with, I have my own friends and we have daily conversations so I have no issue with him”, he added.
Odartey and Akonnor both worked with Division side Eleven Wise in the 2010 season before they parted ways.
