Former Hearts of Oak forward Sadat Karim scores in Halmstads BK home draw against IK Sirius in Sweden

Ghanaian forward Sadat Karim netted his 3rd of the season when Halmstads BK were held at home by IK Sirius in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Monday.

A goal in the additional minutes by the visitors saw them earn a point at the Orjans Vall after a 1-1 scoreline.

Karim scored the opening goal of the match in the 12th minute after he was set up by Kosovan defender Edvin Kurtulus.

Christian Kouakou scored in the dying embers of the match to snatch a point for Sirius as he connected a pass from Jamie Roche.

Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Boakye also featured for Halmstads after coming on in the second half to replace Samuel Kroon.

Karim has now scored 6 goals after 22 appearances in the Swedish top division and the Svenska Cupen this campaign.
