A free agent since last January, once both his loan deal with Brescia and his parent-club one with Sassuolo were over, former Italian international forward Alessandro Matri, turning 36 on August 19, disclosed to local source La Gazzetta di Modena being pondering over quitting: "I didn't expect having to go on a break last January already. Now I'm just trying to adjust to this new lifestyle, enjoying my family and my spare time. I'm keeping on training, even on lockdown, but I really don't know whether I'm going to start back playing or not".
