Veteran goalkeeper George Owu has advised Asante Kotoko shot-stopper Felix Annan to keep clean sheets in their CAF Confederations Cup.

Annan has been impeccable for the Porcupine Warriors in Africa, saving a penalty in their 2-1 win  Zesco United in Kumasi.

Despite the heroics of the 24-year old goalkeeper, he is a yet to keep a clean sheet since the Reds 0-0 draw with Kariobangi Sharks in Kenya.

“God being so good he’s doing well thus far , he tries his best and even went on to save a penalty in their last outing against Zesco,” Owu told Otec FM Sports

“He continues to make saves but he should try his possible best to keep a clean sheet in Zambia against Nkana.”

Asante Kotoko reach the group stages of the competition for the first time since 2008. An achievement George Owu has commended following the lack of football in Ghana.

“Though there hasn’t been any competitive league in Ghana for some months now, but Kotoko are trying their best in winning games. I hope they will continue like that.” He added.
