Former Kotoko management chief Edmund Ackah to contest GHALCA post

Popular former Asante Kotoko management member Edmund Ackah will contest as an Executive Council member of the Ghana League Clubs Association, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm. 

The former Kotoko and Medeama top official will pick nomination forms when the roadmap for the election of a new chairman and Executive Council is announced in the coming days.

Ackah, a very popular figure within the football architecture, has received ringing endorsement from several top clubs including Asante Kotoko, Medeama, Inter Allies, Karela United, Berekum Chelsea, Eleven Wonders, Ebusua Dwarfs and Legon Cities amongst others to contest one of the two Premier League slot, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.

Four top clubs in particular Kotoko, Medeama, Inter Allies and Karela United have all queued to nominate and endorse him to contest for the top role.

Premier League clubs have got two slots on the Executive Council.

The highly respected former Asante Kotoko management member is one of the new faces required to help improve  the image of the umbrella body for clubs in the country.
