The Ukrainians advanced to the quarter-finals at the expense of Les Mauves et Blancs on a 4-1 aggregate after winning both legs.

Acheampong, who has been handed a spot in Avram Grant's 23-man squad for the 2017 AFCON qualifier against Mozambique, lasted the entire duration of the game at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.

The winger was rated among the best players in the competition at the knock stages after scoring the consolation goal in the reverse leg which Shaktar won 3-1.

He scored four goals in the competition.
