In light of his blistering form for Anderlecht this campaign, Frank Acheampong has deservedly earned a return to the Black Stars for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against with Mozambique.

He is making a return to the team for the first time in a year after missing a penalty in Ghana's 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final defeat to Ivory Coast

There has never been any doubt about his talent.

Acheampong has been one of the best Ghanaian players abroad, playing key roles in games for Anderlecht in the domestic league and UEFA Europa league.

His performances has gone unnoticed as  UEFA's technical team has rated the 2013 Ghana U20 attacker among best young players in the 2016 Europa League competition plus appeared in Europa team of the week twice.

And to top it all Anderlecht named him player of the month for February.

Notwithstanding, the 22-year old forward has scored seven (7) times in his last 10 appearances for Anderlecht.
