Pundits have hailed England's thrilling turnaround against Germany that saw them overturn a two goal deficit to draw 3-3 at Wembley.
The Three Lions will still go into the World Cup without a win in their last six games, but their three goals in 12 minutes late on will provide a much-needed confidence boost.
For Gary Lineker, England's late turnaround was evidence of why they should trust their attacking instincts rather than worrying about defensive frailties.
He tweeted: 'When England are forced into playing to their strengths (attacking), they look a good side. When they play to cover their weaknesses (defending), they look a poor side.'
'A lesson maybe: England is always better when chasing a game. When the shackles are off. When the fear of conceding is secondary. When they play a high press. When they’re brave.'
Others focused on the performance from 19-year-old midfielder Jude Bellingham, with Spotsmail's Chris Sutton telling BBC 5 Live: 'He won the penalty. Everything Bellingham did was positive.'
Harry Kane gave England the lead with the penalty won by Bellingham, but it was cancelled out shortly afterwards following an error from Nick Pope.
Sutton added that the Dortmund star was: 'Always looking forward and he doesn't take the easy option.'
'I think at times Declan Rice takes the easy option. Bellingham has wonderful awareness and bravery. When you have a player who is so young and talented, why wouldn't you want to build a team around him.'
