Ghana Football Association (GFA) has pledged its unwavering support to Ampem Darkoa Ladies as they prepare to represent Ghana in the forthcoming 2023/24 season of the CAF Women's Champions League.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies earned their place in the prestigious tournament by clinching the WAFU Zone B Championship, showcasing their exceptional talent and determination.
The GFA, recognising the importance of nurturing and championing the women's game, has extended a helping hand to the reigning champions of the Ghana Women's Premier League offering them Ghanaman Technical Center in Prampram to Ampem Darkoa Ladies for their pre-tournament preparations.
They have also taken a step further, ensuring that all expenses will be taken care of, guaranteeing that the team can adequately and effectively gear up for the monumental task that lies ahead in the Champions League.
In an official statement, the GFA articulated their support, saying, "The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has offered the Ghanaman Technical Center, Prampram, to Ampem Darkoa Ladies in preparation for the CAF Women's Champions League. The week-long training camp at this state-of-the-art facility is fully funded by the GFA, serving as a vital contribution to their campaign in the main Champions League."
