Ghana assistant coach spots five team B players for senior call-ups

Ghana assistant coach Akwasi Appiah has revealed he has identified five players from the  Team B that ready to play in the senior national team.

The ex-international was in-charge of a locally-based national team which drew one-all with Sierra Leone last Saturday in a friendly.

"The performance of the team was generally impressive and I identified some five players in the team and I want to watch them again. I don't want to mention names but I really like their performance," Appiah told Accra-based Happy FM

The Black Stars team B is made up of entirely local players and other foreign players who cannot meet the grades at the main team.

Ghana's next assignment will be against Congo in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at home on 6 June.
