Some have built a reputation of leaving grandiose lifestyle by driving posh cars and dropping thousands of dollars at night clubs.
Itâ€™s also widely believed some spent their hard won kitty on women at the expense of investing in businesses to safeguard their future.
The Lyon strong-centre-back fears the flamboyant lifestyle of some Ghanaian players could come back to haunt them.
â€œI think as players we must all bear in mind that, our careers will end at a point and so itâ€™s important we make hay while the sun shineâ€ Mensah said
â€œI believe it will be in the best interest of everyone to start investing massively. It will be in our own interest.
â€œBut at the end of the day, you can only advise. Everyone is an adult and can take decision for themselves.
â€œBut as someone who has seen things in the past, we must all be working towards that if some have not started,â€
â€œSo that when you finish your football career, there will be something that you can fall on immediately and live a comfortable life,â€
Some Ghanaian players who rose to fame in the past have been left seriously broke due to their glitzy lifestyle during their playing careers.
