Hoffenheim-bound Kasim Nuhu was not part of the Young Boys team which opened their Swiss Super League campaign with a 2-0 win over Grasshopper on Sunday.

This has paved way for his much-publicized move to the German Bundesliga outfit.

Young Boys, defending champions, have agreed to release the Ghana international for a fee of  €8 million.

Hoffenheim will pay an additional €2 million depending on the number of appearances he makes in his first season.

Nuhu made 32 appearances and scored two goals in the Swiss Super League for Young Boys last term.
