Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi has confirmed that plans are far advanced to get Spanish La Liga duo, Thomas Teye Partey and Inaki Williams to play for the senior national team The Black Stars.

Both Players have been in blistering form at their respective clubs this season and has gone unnoticed as the FA has instituted plans to get the duo to play for Ghana.

Their stupendous performances have drawn the attention of numerous football fans in Ghana as well as the national handlers.

Partey, 22, has scored two at Atletico Madrid this season and currently holds mind-boggling passing accuracy of 100% in his 10 appearances in the Spanish La Liga.

He has also played a key role in the side’s qualification to the semi finals of the Uefa Champions League.

On his part, Inaki Williams has also been in magnificent shape for Atletic Bilbao, scoring ten goals in all competitions to emerge as the youngest player in Europe to hit thedouble digit.

Both Players are eligible to represent Ghana and Ghana FA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi has revealed Avram Grant is planning to hold talks with them soon.

”Avram will be in Spain to talk to Partey, Inaki and the UK to meet Fosu Mensah. We want them to play for Ghana,” Nyantakyi told Happy FM.

“We want to invite any player who is performing well and saw it is important to consider these guys (Partey, Inaki and Fosu-Mensah).”
