Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi wants an improved performance from the Black Stars in Monday's international friendly against Brazil.

The Black Stars struggled to beat Swaziland 2-0 in a joint 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Friday night.

The five-time world champions are keen to get back to winning ways following their abysmal performance in the Copa America

Head coach Mano Menezes making a number of changes to his squad.

The Black Stars who have not beaten Brazil at the senior level must put up an improved performance if they want to halt the streak of defeats against the Selecao.

"There has been lot of talk about their performance on Friday and it’s important we step up our game in the friendly against Brazil," Nyantakyi said.

"We all know the pedigree of the South Americans and so if we want to beat them, then obviously we must be on point.

"I believe we have the men capable of beating the Brazilians despite their pedigree because in these times, things have changed and no one can underrate us," he added.

Ghana were eliminated from the 2006 Fifa World Cup finals after losing 3-0 to Brazil in the round of 16 stage.

The Black Stars again lost 1-0 to the Selecao in an international friendly played in 2007 in Sweden.
