MSK Zilina right back Benson Anang has been ruled out of Ghana's 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa.
The defender picked up an injury in Zilina's 1-1 draw at Spartak Trnava and was replaced after the break by Tomas Nemcik.
The FA confirmed the defender will miss the game and has been replaced by Hearts of Oak captain Fatawu Mohammed.
"Slovakia based Benson Annan has been ruled out of the two World Cup qualifiers after picking up an injury over the weekend We wish Benson a speedy recovery," wrote the FA on Twitter.

Anang first earned a call up for the friendlies against Mali and Qatar in October 2020.
"Samuel Ashie Quaye (Great Olympics), Fatau Mohammed (Hearts of Oak) called up by Coach Charles Akonnor. Brentford City winger Tarique Fosu is excused from the upcoming assignments to sort out his future with the club," added the FA.
