The Ghana Football Association is in talks with England for a possible international friendly in March next year.

The news will delight fans of the Black Stars who are keen to see their team whip their colonial masters who introduced football to the country.

Previous talks of a Black Stars-Three Lions clash have been botched but Ghanaians will be keen and excited if the latest move materializes.

It will be the first time and a historic meeting between the West African country and their colonial masters at the senior level.

"Yes it true we’re in talk with England to play their national team but we haven’t finished the details yet as we look to engage them in March hopefully," Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi told Ghanasoccernet.com

"It is a real possibility but let wait and see how it goes and we’ll inform you if it’s concluded."

Meanwhile the Ghana FA says three countries including Bulgaria, Belarus and Libya have all slapped in proposals to play the Black Stars in next month’s Fifa free date.
