Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan reveals best career decision

Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has disclosed that his decision to join Al Ain was the best of his career. 

Gyan made a fortune after joining the Gulf giants, using part of the money from his move to create opportunities for Ghanaians.

The 36-year-old was heavily criticized for leaving the English Premier League at his prime to sign for Al Ain, but Gyan insists it is a decision he never regrets.

“Moving to Al Ain was the best decision I made in my Career, the money that I got I have made investments, I have created employments," he said on the Dentaa Show.

“I have created employment for the same people who were insulting me. I pay taxes," he added.

Asamoah Gyan won several trophies at Al Ain, including three UAE Pro League titles and the UAE President Cup.

He was also named the BBC African Player of the Year in 2010 after a magnificent World Cup in South Africa.
