Ghana midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan was left disappointed with Sassuolo's 1-0 defeat at Genoa over the weekend.
The African hits the post as Sassoulo succumbed to the narrow defeat at the Stadio Città del Tricolore.
The Black Stars enforcer has ruined the side's missed chances.
"We tried to play our game, we really missed just the the chance to score," he told Tuttosassuolocalcio.
"We played our play but couldn't find the space to score.
"I tried but unfortunately I hit the post. It should also be said that we played against a very physical team.
"Now we immediately have to think about the next game. "
Sassuolo next take on Fiorentina in their next game.
