Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko face an unrelenting test in their title charge against contenders Aduana Stars at the Baba Yara stadium on Wednesday.

They recorded a 2-0 victory over Liberty Professionals last Saturday ahead of this mouthwatering fixture  in midweek.

Two goals from Dauda Mohamed and Eric Donkor were enough for the Fabulous team.

Influential captain Amos Frimpong returns to the squad for Wednesday's game after serving a suspension last Saturday against the Scientific Soccer Lads.

Winger Frank Sarfo is expected to recover from a niggling injury in time to be able to face the second placed Aduana Stars.

He missed the last league game last Saturday in Dansoman.

Aduana Stars got boosted ahead of their visit to Kumasi with a hard fought win against regional rivals Berekum Chelsea last Saturday at the Nana Agyemang Badu park in Dormaa.

Yahaya Mohammed increased his goal tally to fourteen after a scoring from the spot to hand all three points to the Fire boys.

The 2010 league champions could be seen on top of the league ladder with a first ever win over Asante Kotoko.

Budding striker Nathaniel Asamoah has still not recovered from an injury he sustained at training last week.
