Ghana triumphed 6-5 on penalties against Niger on Wednesday to reach the final of the 2017 CAF U17 Nations Cup.

Striker Emmanuel Toku clinically scored the seventh kick in sudden to put the Black Starlets through.

Both sides played out a goalless draw at the Stade Port Gentil but the number of chances stacked up by the Starlets, gave narrow margin of victory a deceptive appearance.

In the first half, Edmund Arko Mensah came close to finding the back of the net but his effort missed the goal post by inches.

Captain Eric Ayiah shockingly mis-directed an effort after being put through on goal.

Late in the second half, Niger smashed the goal post from rebound free-kick.
