Ghana spy on AFCON opponents Guinea

Ghana sent spies to watch the friendly of Nations Cup Group D opponents Guinea against Burkina Faso on Tuesday for the second time. 

The entire Black Stars squad led by assistant coach Akwasi Appiah were on hand to watch the Sylli Nationale when they were thrashed 4-1 by Senegal last Friday.

Ghana will play Guinea in the final Group D match on 1 February 2012 in Franceville, Gabon.

With the Ghana FA keen on not leaving an stone unturned, some members of the technical team were sent to watch the Guineans again.

They also took note of the Burkinabes who have been tipped to advance from their group and could be Ghana's opponents in the knock out phase.

The Black Stars management committee led by Kwesi Nyantakyi is keen on making every information available to the coaching staff to ensure they are well prepared to annex the Africa Cup of Nations title.

Ghana needed a 90th minute goal to beat Nations Cup co-hosts Gabon 2-1 in Paris on Tuesday.
