Ghana striker Emmanuel Gyasi has admitted his goal against Juventus was wonderful and is sad it did not contribute to victory.

Cutting in from the left flank, Gyasi fired the ball into the roof of the net to equalise for Spezia, before letting loose with Ronaldo’s celebration in front of a jubilant home crowd.

Spezia's inspired by Gyasi goal went ahead for the first time through Janis Antiste four minutes after the halftime break.

But Juventus produced a comeback with centre-back Matthijs de Ligt scoring the winner from a corner six minutes after Federico Chiesa's equaliser in the 66th minute.

“My goal was wonderful, especially because after so many months without the fans, seeing the scream at the Peak was wonderful.

"Too bad we weren't able to take home points after an important performance,” Gyasi said.

The Black Stars forward has two goals in five games so far this season.
